Discover the power of nasal breathing at night

Wake up with a dry mouth and no energy?

Opening your mouth during sleep is a habit that drastically lowers recovery quality. It dries out the mucosa, intensifies snoring, and bypasses the natural nasal filter. As a result, your body doesn’t get enough oxygen — and you wake up tired even after sleeping 7–8 hours.

HOW IT WORKS?

How to use OxiStrip mouth tapes?

Clean and dry your mouth

Wash and thoroughly dry your lips and the skin around them. Make sure not to apply balms, lipsticks, or oily creams to these areas.

Apply evenly

Close your mouth in a natural position and apply the tape horizontally across your lips. The strip gently keeps your mouth closed while allowing free nasal breathing.

Breathe and recover

Done! The tape keeps your lips closed, supporting nasal breathing. Remember, mouth tape works best together with nasal strips.

BENEFITS

Main advantages of using mouth tapes

No more morning dry mouth

Keeping your mouth closed prevents your throat from drying out, protecting the oral cavity and mucosa.

Higher nitric oxide (NO) levels

Encouraging nasal breathing stimulates nitric oxide production, which dilates blood vessels and improves tissue oxygenation.

Parasympathetic activation

Nasal breathing lowers resting heart rate and shifts the nervous system into calm mode, supporting deeper overnight recovery.

Quieter bedroom, less snoring

Limiting habitual mouth opening stops soft throat tissues from collapsing, effectively reducing loud snoring.

WHY OXISTRIP

What makes OxiStrip tape different?

Anatomical shape

Designed specifically for the delicate skin of the lips.

Skin-safe adhesive

Made for skin contact — leaves no residue and peels off without pain.

Safety guarantee

The tape will release if you have trouble breathing through your nose.

Forcing nasal breathing during sleep with mouth tapes significantly reduces the apnea–hypopnea index (AHI), lowers snoring frequency, and improves blood oxygen saturation in habitual mouth breathers.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about mouth tapes

No. The tape gently supports keeping your mouth closed, but the adhesive holds with a force that lets you open your mouth at any time if breathing becomes difficult. Your nose also stays fully clear.

If you have a heavy cold or a strongly blocked nose, clear it first with an OxiStrip nasal strip — or pause mouth tape until your nose is clear again. Best results come from the Combo set (nasal strip + mouth tape).

The adhesive peels off very easily. Just gently pull the tape from one side. If your lips are very sensitive, you can moisten them with warm water first.

Yes. The tape is applied directly on the lips and just above/below them, so light facial hair around the mouth doesn’t get in the way. In the morning you’ll peel it off without pulling out hairs.
