OxiStrip vs mouth tape

Two ways to breathe better at night. Here is how they actually stack up.

BENEFITS

Why nasal strips change everything

Deeper sleep and recovery

Nasal breathing activates the parasympathetic system (responsible for rest and calm), increases sleep depth, and lets the body recover fully and effectively at night.

Quiet bedroom

Opening the nasal passages restores free airflow, which significantly reduces or completely eliminates snoring. A peaceful night for you and your partner.

More morning energy

Proper oxygenation at night means the end of morning fatigue. You wake up refreshed, clear-headed, and ready to go from the moment you get up.

Learn more

Natural nitric oxide

Nasal breathing stimulates the production of nitric oxide (NO) — a natural compound that dilates blood vessels and improves circulation and oxygenation throughout the body.

Better sports performance

OxiStrip keeps your nose clear even when you’re exhausted. Easier nasal ventilation during training helps control heart rate and improves overall performance.

No drugs and no chemicals

The strip works in a fully physical way by gently lifting the sides of the nose. Zero pharmacological substances, zero absorbed chemicals, and a skin-friendly adhesive.

HOW IT WORKS?

How OxiStrip nasal strips work — 3 simple steps

Our nose and mouth strips work in a purely mechanical way — no drugs or chemicals. Enjoy freer breathing during sleep, work, and training.

Clean and dry

Before use, wash and thoroughly dry the skin on your nose or around your mouth. Clean skin — free of sebum, moisturizers, or makeup — is key to maximum adhesive grip.

Apply precisely

Nasal strip: Place it on the bridge of the nose, just above the nostrils (about 1 cm from the bottom of the nose). Press once, firmly, and do not adjust it on the skin. Mouth tape: Apply vertically in the center of the lips on a closed mouth.

Breathe freely

That’s it! The strip mechanically lifts the sides of the nose and instantly increases airflow, while the tape supports healthy nasal breathing. Get full oxygenation — at night, while running, and during the day.

QUESTIONS

Frequently asked questions

The strips have a flexible expanding band that gently lifts the sides of the nose, physically widening the nasal passages and making airflow easier. The action is fully physical — no drugs or chemicals.

OxiStrip uses an improved single elastic band that lifts the nose more gently and does not cause painful skin irritation when removed. We offer transparent options (discreet during the day) as well as dedicated sets that combine nasal strips with mouth tapes for full breathing optimization.

Mouth tape is a gentle strip that supports natural nasal breathing during sleep. It peels off easily, does not seal the mouth in a way that prevents exhaling if needed, and is fully safe for adults when used according to the instructions.

Yes. The products work in a purely physical way, are not addictive, and contain no chemical substances, so they are ideal for daily, long-term use.

We use a skin-safe adhesive designed for contact with the skin. If your skin is very reactive or prone to allergies, we recommend a small patch test — apply a strip for 15 minutes (e.g. on your forearm or nose) before the first full night.

Remove it slowly, gently peeling the edges toward the center of the nose. It comes off most easily after washing your face with warm water or in the shower, when the adhesive softens naturally.

If snoring is caused by limited nasal airflow, narrow nasal passages, or habitually opening the mouth at night — yes. Mechanically opening the nose makes a clear difference for most people from the very first night.

Yes. Lifting the nasal wings helps widen the nasal passages and eases airflow even with anatomical issues, providing relief without resorting to nasal drops.

The strips reduce nasal breathing resistance and improve sleep comfort, but they are not a medical device for treating sleep apnea. If you suspect apnea, we recommend consulting a doctor.

Yes. Because they contain no pharmacological substances or chemicals, the strips are a safe, physical way to ease pregnancy-related mucosal swelling and difficult breathing.

Absolutely! Many runners and athletes use OxiStrip bands during workouts to maintain nasal breathing, lower heart rate, and improve lung ventilation. The adhesive holds well on the skin even during exertion.

The most common cause is moisturizer, oil (sebum), or makeup on the skin. Before applying, make sure the nose is thoroughly washed and dry. After applying, press the strip once, firmly.

Each strip and tape is a single-use product, designed for 8–12 hours of continuous wear (ideally for a full night or one workout).
